Senior Qualified Social Worker – MASH / Integrated Front Door

Type: Part-time (18.5 hours/week)
Pay: £35 per hour

Are you an experienced and passionate social worker looking to make a difference at the very start of a child’s journey through social care? We’re seeking a Senior Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Integrated Front Door / MASH team in South Yorkshire on a part-time basis.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll be the first point of contact for children and families in need, working in a fast-paced environment where your decisions truly matter.
Using your professional judgment, you'll:
* Assess referrals and analyse complex information to identify risk
* Complete safety plans and support decisions on thresholds and intervention
* Collaborate with multi-agency partners (health, police, education, etc.)
* Promote early help and ensure the right support at the right time
* Make an impact through early identification and swift, effective action
What You Bring:
We’re looking for someone who’s confident, experienced, and ready to hit the ground running in a MASH or screening setting.
Registered Social Worker (Social Work England)
4+ years post-qualified experience
Strong knowledge of thresholds and safeguarding legislation
Skilled in risk assessments and safety planning
Familiarity with the Signs of Safety framework and Mosaic system
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Commitment to child-focused, strengths-based practice
