Care Support Worker
Job Type(s): Full and part-time positions available
Salary: £12.40 per hour + paid travel time and mileage.
Candlelight Care is seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join our dedicated, family-run team. We support vulnerable adults in their own homes within Wimborne and surrounding areas. We offer both full and part-time roles with shift patterns from 7am - 2pm and/or 4pm - 10pm, including alternate weekends. Driving is not always essential depending on location.
Key Responsibilities of a Care Support Worker:
1. Build relationships with clients to understand their interests and needs.
2. Provide emotional and practical support, assist with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing), domestic tasks, and food preparation tailored to each individual.
3. Assist with medication, mobility aids, and personal equipment as required.
4. Report significant changes in clients' health or circumstances to the Registered Manager.
5. Promote independence while safeguarding wellbeing.
