Your new role
1. Carry out regular checks and maintenance on electrical systems
2. Fix electrical faults and breakdowns quickly
3. Install and upgrade electrical equipment when needed
4. Follow safety rules and keep records of work done
5. Work with other teams to reduce downtime
6. Suggest improvements to make systems more reliable
7. Experience with mechanical systems is beneficial.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Electrical engineering qualification (, HNC, HND, or degree) – desired but not essential.
9. Experience working with electrical systems in a factory or industrial setting
10. Good understanding of motors, control panels, and PLCs
11. Able to read technical diagrams
12. Good problem-solving and teamwork skills
13. Work on a shift pattern of 4 on (days 6am to 6pm) / 4 off / 4 on (nights 6pm to 6am)
