Our client, a leader in the construction sector with a focus on Data Centre projects, is currently seeking a Health and Safety Lead to join their team for projects in the Nordics.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures for large, Hyperscale Data centre projects
Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Leading investigations into any incidents or accidents, compiling reports, and implementing corrective actions
Providing health and safety training and inductions to all site personnel
Coordinating with project managers and site supervisors to embed safety practices within daily operations
Ensuring all health and safety documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible
Identifying potential hazards and initiating control measures to mitigate risks
Communicating effectively with all stakeholders regarding health and safety issues and improvements
Job Requirements:
Experience in health and safety management within the construction sector, specifically on Data Centre projects
Proven ability to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
Excellent communication and training skills
A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
Relevant health and safety qualifications or certifications
Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise tasks
