Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team in Huntingdon. We are looking to cover evenings, weekends and daytimes shifts. As a Care Professional, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes.
1. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication management
2. Prepare nutritious meals and help with light housekeeping tasks
3. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
4. Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities
5. Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behaviour to supervisors
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
7. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care
8. Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe environment for clients
9. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
10. Genuine passion for supporting others and delivering outstanding care
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
12. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and their families
13. Strong sense of reliability, trustworthiness, and respect for client confidentiality
14. Physical stamina to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
15. Patience, empathy, and understanding towards clients' diverse needs
16. Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record-keeping
17. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
18. Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for client transportation
19. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
20. Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not required.
