We’re working with a well established organisation operating within the retail sector, who are looking to appoint an experienced Store Manager to lead the day to day operations of a busy store environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role with full responsibility for store performance, team management, customer experience, and operational standards. The successful candidate will be confident running a store autonomously while working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver commercial and service objectives.
💥 As Store Manager, you will:
* Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
* Lead, manage and motivate the store team, including recruitment, training, performance management and rota planning
* Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently delivered
* Manage stock control, ordering, merchandising and visual presentation
* Oversee cash handling, tills, banking and compliance with financial procedures
* Ensure health & safety, security and operational policies are followed at all times
* Monitor store performance against targets and identify opportunities for improvement
* Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers
💥 What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience in a Store Manager or equivalent retail management role
* Strong people management and leadership capability
* Confident managing store operations, stock, cash handling and compliance
* Commercially aware with the ability to drive performance and standards
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
* Hands-on, accountable and solutions-focused approach
