Are you an experienced Management Accountant? Would you like a role that you can make your own and help develop the account’s function? We have an opportunity for a new role in Stansted. You will initially help relocate the function to Stansted and then be key in revieing process and reporting. A great opportunity to add value and support the businesses in their growth plans.
Key duties;
* Prepare and analyse financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
* Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Conduct cost analysis and control, identifying opportunities for efficiency and savings.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
* Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals.
* Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis to guide strategic planning.
* Partner with business units to deliver financial insights and performance analysis.
* Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
* Improve financial systems, processes, and reporting tools for efficiency and automation.
* Monitor key financial KPIs, identifying trends and risks to improve business performance.
You will bring;
* Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with experience of management accounting
* Good Excel skills
* Hands on experience and the ability to demonstrate using your initiative
