We are working with a well-established and expanding organisation seeking to appoint a Head of Sustainability. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation’s environmental strategy while ensuring sustainability is embedded across the business.
Reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer, this role will operate at a strategic level while also supporting operational teams to improve environmental performance across multiple sites.
The role will be based at the organisation’s headquarters near Maidstone, with travel across the South East with occasional home working.

What you will be doing:
Leading the development and delivery of the organisation’s sustainability and environmental strategyAdvising senior leadership and board-level stakeholders on environmental mattersDriving initiatives that reduce environmental impact and improve performanceEnsuring environmental compliance across operational sites and activitiesEmbedding sustainability principles into operational and commercial decision makingSupporting the organisation as it continues to grow and expand geographically
What we are looking for:
We are keen to speak with experienced sustainability or environmental professionals who can demonstrate:
Senior leadership experience within sustainability, environmental management, or ESGExperience influencing senior stakeholders and operating at board levelA track record of delivering environmental improvements within operational environmentsStrategic thinking with a pragmatic and hands‑on approachA CSCS card would be advantageous, although support can be provided to obtain this if required for site visits.
