About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated and commercially driven Sales Manager to take responsibility for driving UK and international inbound revenue for a dynamic hotel operation.
This role will focus on delivering strong performance across key segments including Exclusive Use, Group, Travel Trade, Retail, and MICE markets. You will play a key part in developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and strengthening the hotels market presence across both established and emerging destinations.
Key Responsibilities Drive hotel sales activity across UK and international markets
Deliver revenue growth across all key segments, with focus on MICE, group, and travel trade
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and key decision-makers
Identify and convert new business opportunities in emerging and established markets
Manage a portfolio of accounts and develop structured account development plans
Support delivery of sales and marketing strategies aligned to business objectives
Work closely with the Head of Marketing (M&T) on digital marketing initiatives
Represent the hotel at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events (UK & international)
Organise and host familiarisation trips to drive future business
Collaborate with tourism boards, DMCs, and key industry partners
Ensure sales collateral is up to date, on-brand, and market appropriate
Maintain accurate records and activity tracking using Salesforce
About You Minimum 4 years experience in hotel sales, ideally within the MICE market
Proven track record of delivering revenue and managing client relationships
Strong commercial awareness and results-driven mindset
Confident communicator with excellent presentation and influencing skills
Highly organised with a structured and methodical approach to sales
Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team
Strong network of industry contacts (advantageous)
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems
