Role summary

We are a small company looking for a practical, all-round IT Manager to own day-to-day IT, lead technology projects, strengthen cybersecurity, and coordinate GDPR/data protection activities. The role is hands-on, business-facing, and focused on standardisation and synergies aligned with the wider group environment (e.g., Coca-Cola Hellenic) where relevant.

You may support business systems such as SAP and Office 365 (examples), alongside other applications and services required by the business.

Key responsibilities (IT Manager level)

1) IT leadership and service ownership

·Own the IT function end-to-end: support, reliability, supplier coordination, documentation, and continuous improvement.

·Set and maintain IT standards: onboarding/offboarding, access management, device standards, asset lifecycle, and change control.

·Establish simple service processes: ticketing, prioritisation, SLAs, escalation paths, and reporting.

2) Project management and delivery (primary focus)

·Lead IT projects from idea to completion: scope, requirements, plan, budget, delivery, testing, rollout, and handover.

·Manage stakeholders and expectations; communicate progress clearly with concise status reporting and action tracking.

·Coordinate third parties and group IT contacts as needed; ensure projects meet operational and security requirements.

·Produce and maintain project documentation: plans, RAID log, decisions, and post-implementation notes.

3) Core systems and business applications (examples: SAP, Office 365)

·Ensure business-critical systems are supported and fit for purpose (e.g., ERP/CRM, email and collaboration, file storage).

·Coordinate access requests, troubleshooting, upgrades, and vendor support, ensuring clear ownership and turnaround times.

·Improve system usage via lightweight training guides, standard procedures, and process optimisation.

·Systems integration management

4) Cybersecurity and IT risk

·Implement and maintain baseline controls: MFA, patching cadence, endpoint protection, backups, least privilege, and secure configuration.

·Maintain visibility of risks and vulnerabilities; plan remediation and track completion to closure.

·Coordinate incident response: triage, contain, document, escalate, and support recovery.

·Drive user awareness (phishing, safe data handling, password hygiene) and reinforce security culture.

5) GDPR / data protection coordination

·Coordinate GDPR compliance activities (not necessarily acting as the legal DPO).

·Maintain key records and processes: data inventory/ROPA, retention guidance, vendor documentation/DPAs, DSAR coordination.

·Support privacy-by-design reviews for new tools, process changes, and integrations involving personal data.

6) Standardisation and synergies (group alignment)

·Identify and deliver standardisation opportunities across tools, processes, security controls, and documentation.

·Align with group IT standards and ways of working where appropriate, balancing speed, cost, and compliance.

·Support audits and provide evidence of controls where required.

7) Vendor and budget management

·Manage IT suppliers and contracts (licensing, renewals, support agreements) and act as point of contact.

·Track IT costs and propose cost-effective improvements; contribute to annual budgeting where applicable.

·Build and maintain an IT roadmap aligned to business priorities.

Skills and experience

Must-have

·Experience operating as an IT Manager / IT Lead / senior IT generalist in a small-to-mid environment.

·Strong project management capability (planning, delivery, stakeholder management, documentation).

·Cybersecurity fundamentals and evidence of practical implementation of controls.

·Systems integration management

·Working understanding of GDPR/data protection principles and ability to coordinate compliance tasks.

·Clear communication skills and the ability to translate technical topics for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-have (examples)

·Experience supporting business platforms such as Office 365, SAP, or similar ERP/CRM systems.

·Experience aligning with a larger corporate/group IT organisation (policies, governance, security standards).

·Familiarity with IT service management concepts (incident/problem/change) and tooling.

·Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Agile, Microsoft, Security+, GDPR training).

What success looks like (first 3-6 months)

·Clear IT runway: standard onboarding/offboarding, asset control, access management, and documented procedures.

·Improved project delivery with transparent status reporting and reliable handovers.

·Security baseline strengthened (MFA, patching, backup verification, endpoint controls).

·GDPR records and processes organised, maintained, and audit-ready.

·Practical progress on standardisation and alignment with group requirements.
