Early Years Educator / Practitioner
Atelier Nursery, Bath
Are you creative, caring, and passionate about giving children the very best start in life?
Atelier Nursery in Bath is looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our wonderful team.
About Us
Atelier Nursery is a progressive, nurturing, and creative setting where children, families, and educators thrive together. Inspired by child-led, Reggio Emilia-influenced practice, we provide an environment full of warmth, curiosity, and possibility. We are proud of our reputation for high-quality early years education and for creating a place where children's love for learning truly flourishes.
We are a free-flow, mixed-age setting where children are seen as confident and capable learners. We believe in providing an environment filled with enriching, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and creativity. From our youngest babies to our pre-schoolers, children and practitioners learn alongside one another through meaningful projects — whether that's throwing clay on the wheel, baking bread from scratch, planting seeds, visiting museums, or weaving fabrics in our cabin. Every day is an opportunity to explore, create, and discover together.
The Role
As an Early Years Educator / Practitioner, you'll help create a joyful, stimulating environment where babies and young children feel safe, valued, and inspired. You'll plan and deliver engaging, child-led learning experiences rooted in the EYFS, always encouraging exploration, creativity, and discovery.
You will play a truly special part in each child's journey. You'll have your own key family, building a close, trusting relationship with both the children and their parents. From a baby's very first steps to waving them off to school, you'll have the privilege of supporting, guiding, and celebrating their growth every step of the way. This continuity of care is at the heart of what we do, allowing you to know each child and family deeply and to share in the magical moments.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who:
* Holds at least a Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
* Has minimum of 2years experience working with babies and young children in line with the EYFS.
* Is a team player with energy and positivity, ready to collaborate and share ideas.
* Communicates with warmth, building trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Brings creativity and curiosity into everything they do.
* Has a genuine love for supporting children's growth, learning, and wellbeing.
What We Offer
At Atelier Nursery, we believe our educators deserve to feel valued and supported. That's why we offer:
* £25,200 per year (based on 37 hours, full-time).
* A four-day working week – an extra day just for you
* A bespoke professional development package, with opportunities for progression.
* A comprehensive wellbeing programme to support your health and happiness.
* Staff discounts

Atelier Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
