PDI Inspector

Hours: 37 hours per week | Monday to Thursday | 06:45 16:15
Hourly Rate: £15.91 £18.26 per hour (DOE)
To carry out pre-delivery inspections and quality assurance activities to ensure vehicles meet customer specifications and internal quality standards before release. The role is responsible for identifying defects, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining high standards of workmanship within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out in-process quality audits, including torque setting verification and hydraulic pressure checks.
2. Conduct systematic testing and inspection of vehicles in accordance with established inspection procedures.
3. Confirm vehicles comply with customer specifications and quality requirements prior to release.
4. Accurately record build standard criteria, defects, and faults for reporting and analysis purposes.
5. Identify and escalate quality concerns, supporting root cause investigation and corrective actions.
6. Promote effective communication with manufacturing teams to drive adherence to quality standards.
