At Ellutia, we design and build innovative gas chromatography instruments and detectors used by laboratories around the world. We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer with GC experience to join our team – someone who enjoys hands‑on technical work, solving analytical problems, and travelling internationally.
The Role
* Install, service, and maintain Ellutia GC systems at customer sites in the UK and overseas.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for chromatography applications.
* Carry out preventive maintenance, repairs, and performance validation.
* Produce clear service reports and maintain accurate records.
* Support customer training and demonstrations.
* Work closely with the customer support and development teams to resolve issues.
About You
* Experience servicing or supporting gas chromatography instruments (required).
* Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service approach.
* Organised, self‑motivated, and able to work independently.
* Willingness to travel frequently worldwide.
* Full UK driving licence.
