We’re looking for a Category Manager – Property & Facilities Management. We welcome applications from across the UK, with the expectation that the successful candidate will be assigned to one of our designated sites.
As Category Manager for Property & Facilities Management, you’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing the global and regional category strategy. You’ll partner with senior and operational stakeholders to align requirements, drive standardisation, and leverage spend volumes. The category scope includes Hard & Soft FM Services, Lease Management, FM Outsourcing Solutions, and Utilities.

What you’ll do:
6. Develop, sign off, and execute the category strategy and plan for Facilities Management & Property, in line with Source to Contract process, policies, and governance.
7. Implement actions to optimally leverage category suppliers globally; drive common standards across vendors.
8. Make category recommendations using sourcing levers and manage category projects.
9. Manage relationships with Business Units and Supply Partners to ensure strategy fulfilment and compliance.
10. Guide and monitor strategic and operational sourcing processes.
11. Administer contracts within the category, ensuring services meet business requirements and contracts reflect delivered service.
12. Manage supplier performance, monitoring compliance to contractual agreements to optimise performance.
13. Proactively manage supplier relationships, identifying opportunities for innovation, growth, and cost reduction.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
14. Proven track record of delivering savings from sourcing activity.
15. Commercial acumen and operational effectiveness.
16. Proven excellence in negotiation and contracting.
17. Demonstrable experience in an FM & Property procurement role.
18. Detailed understanding of key suppliers and supply market dynamics.
19. Experience developing and implementing category strategies.
20. Experience working with suppliers globally and understanding regional differences.
