Robert Half is recruiting an Accounts Payable Assistant for our prestigious client near Watford, on a temp to perm basis.
The position of Accounts Payable Assistant will be varied and require the following skill-set;
* Processing all supplier/purchase invoices to include scanning, distribution to departments for approval/processing, collation on return and correctly entered on system
* Reconciliation of supplier statements; chasing missing invoices
* Weekly / monthly Payment Runs
* Responding to queries by telephone and email
* Monitor utility contracts and compare before renewal.
* Code and process any ad hoc invoices onto accounts system.
* Manage credit card payment documentation and posting of expenditure
* Collate data for reporting (Carbon Audit)
* Petty Cash - collate payments, code expenditure, or allocate against suppliers on system. Reconcile cash balance at month end.
* Monitor, chase and maintain debtor's ledger.
* Any other relevant ad-hoc duties in support of finance team
The position of Accounts Payable Assistant will be 100% based on-site and will be paying up to £35k on a temp to perm basis.
