Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contracting and Outsourcing professional to play a key role within the Patient Solutions group. Based in Slough, UK, with a hybrid work model (two days in the office), you will support engagement with Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and external partners across the UK, US, and Europe. Your primary focus will be assisting with the negotiation and management of contracts and agreements, ensuring seamless collaboration while liaising with internal legal and other departments. This role is ideal for someone with a scientific background who is eager to develop expertise in contract management and industry collaborations within a biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
Required Skills
* Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences)
* 1-2 years of industry experience in pharma, biotech, CRO, or related fields
* Some experience or familiarity with contracts, agreements, or collaboration frameworks
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly motivated with a keen interest in contract management and external partnerships
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
* Attention to detail and organizational skills
Nice to Have Skills
* Experience working within pre-clinical or patient solutions groups
* Previous exposure to legal liaising or contract negotiation support
* Familiarity with international collaboration processes in the UK, US, or Belgium
* Additional languages or multicultural work experience
Preferred Education and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field; candidates with a PhD and some contract experience in academia are encouraged to apply
* 1-2 years of relevant industry experience in biotech, pharma, or CRO environments
* Some exposure to contract lifecycle stages or external partner engagement
