Job Role: Cleaning Operative
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6pm - 8pm - 10 hours per week
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Location: Edinburgh, EH12 9DQ
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced cleaner to join the site cleaning team in Edinburgh.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out a range of cleaning tasks safely and professionally, to a high standard. You must demonstrate good attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and flexibility to cover additional shifts as required.
The successful candidate will require DBS clearance.
Responsibilities include:
* Cleaning designated areas according to site instructions
* Emptying bins and disposing of recycled waste correctly
* Cleaning spillages promptly to ensure safety
* Following H&S and COSHH regulations
* Using site-specific equipment, machinery, and chemicals
* Providing excellent customer service through proactive interaction with clients and staff
* Performing other reasonable management requests
Requirements
* Good attention to detail
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and use initiative
* Flexibility to cover shifts as needed
* Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
* DBS Certificate (preferred)
* Access to nationally recognized courses via Anchor Academy
