Breakdown/Service Engineer
Location: Rushden, Northants (Within 45 minutes commutable time)
Salary: Competitive
Responsibilities
* Visit customer sites to carry out breakdown repairs, servicing and maintenance.
* Diagnose faults and read electrical drawings to identify solutions and get the machine up and running.
* Work on a wide variety of machines and sites, including Heidelberg Presses, compactors, balers, shredders, cut and crease machines, automated feeding systems, and extruders, across industries such as recycling, farming, printing and processing.
* This is not a shift role.
Qualifications
* Experience in working in an industrial background.
* Ability to diagnose faults using electrical drawings.
* Excellent fault-finding skills.
* Working knowledge of PLCs.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical engineering.
* Trade C and G qualification in one of the following: electrical, mechanical, maintenance.
