Psychologists – Cognitive & Adaptive Function Assessments
Location: Sussex
Contract: October 2025 – March 2026
Pay: £700 per completed assessment (Outside IR35, all-inclusive)
Hours: 08:30 – 18:30, weekdays with weekend options available
About the Role
We are seeking HCPC-registered Educational Psychologists to join our expanding autism diagnostic service for children aged 5–11 across Sussex. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality cognitive and adaptive assessments, working as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team (MDT) alongside paediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer and score cognitive tools including WISC-V and WPPSI-IV.
* Deliver adaptive functioning assessments using Vineland-3 and ABAS-3.
* Interpret findings and contribute to MDT diagnostic formulations.
* Produce integrated written reports to support diagnostic outcomes (submitted within 6–8 weeks).
* Participate in family feedback sessions and contribute to 6-week follow-up calls as required.

Requirements
* HCPC registration as an Educational or Child Psychologist.
* Proven competence with WISC-V, WPPSI-IV, Vineland-3, and ABAS-3.
* Recent experience in autism or neurodevelopmental assessments.
* Enhanced DBS and up-to-date safeguarding training.
