Personal & Social Development Tutor Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) Contract: Full-time Agency: GSL Education Ltd GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal and Social Development Tutor to work within a SEND college in Lincoln, supporting students aged 16–25 with Autism (ASD) and SEMH needs. This is a rewarding, full-time role focused on helping young people develop the essential life, social and employability skills they need to move confidently into adulthood, independence and work. The Role: You will deliver engaging and practical Personal & Social Development sessions, supporting learners to develop: Social communication and teamwork skills Independent living skills, including cooking and self-care Budgeting and money management Mobility and community access Citizenship, confidence and self-advocacy Health, wellbeing and emotional regulation Learning is highly personalised, practical and relationship-led, with a strong focus on preparing students for life beyond college. The Ideal Candidate: Experience as a Teacher, Tutor or Instructor (preferred), or A Level 3 qualification or above in Health & Social Care (or similar), with relevant experience Experience supporting SEND learners, particularly ASD and/or SEMH A calm, patient and flexible approach, confident working with challenging behaviour Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting young people Why Work with GSL Education?
