About the role
As an Optical Assistant, you will be part of the Specsavers team, working to bring eye‑care services directly to patients’ homes across Yorkshire and Leeds. You will schedule appointments, conduct eye exams, provide product advice, and deliver high‑quality customer service in a supportive and flexible environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide domiciliary eye‑care services to individuals and care homes.
* Schedule and coordinate appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
* Conduct eye examinations, fitting spectacles and providing advice on product selection.
* Deliver an outstanding customer experience, always putting the customer first.
* Collaborate with the Specsavers team to maintain a seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
* Excellent customer care skills.
* Previous optical experience.
* Full UK driving licence.
