Music Teacher – Secondary School (West Cornwall Area)

Long-Term Teachers is working in partnership with a secondary school in the West Cornwall area seeking a committed and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join them after Easter. This is a long-term position expected to continue through to the end of the academic year.
This role would suit an experienced teacher or a confident ECT who is comfortable taking on full teaching responsibilities within a supportive department.
The Role
* Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4
* Full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking
* Delivering engaging, practical and theory-based lessons in line with the curriculum
* Supporting pupils of varying abilities to make strong progress
* Contributing to the wider music life of the school where appropriate

* Holds QTS
* Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom presence
* Able to plan, assess and mark effectively
* Reliable, professional and adaptable
* Passionate about inspiring students through music
