This is what you’ll actually do! In this role, you will weigh ingredients and prepare batches in line with approved recipes and methods, ensuring accuracy at all times. You will operate mixers and follow correct mixing techniques, as well as carry out general production duties across the line. You will be responsible for packing products at the speed of the production line, ensuring items are correctly picked, boxed, labelled, and palletised. Accuracy and efficiency will be key to maintaining output and quality standards. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment will form a core part of your daily routine, following a “clean as you go” approach. You will adhere strictly to health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE, and support safe systems of work when operating machinery. You will complete all required documentation accurately and contribute to quality assurance by following company standards. You’ll also work closely with your team to resolve any issues affecting performance or product quality, communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors. As part of your development, you will take part in training activities and build your knowledge of the production process to support flexible working across the line. You may also be required to carry out additional duties in line with business needs. Ideally this is you!
