We are currently recruiting for a Domestic Abuse Floating Support Worker to provide vital support to individuals affected by domestic abuse across Penygroes, Gwynedd and the surrounding area. Your responsibilities will include: Provide high-quality practical and emotional support to individuals affected by domestic abuse, helping them live safely, rebuild confidence, and achieve greater independence Complete referrals, needs assessments, risk assessments, and personalised support plans Maintain positive, professional, and trauma-informed relationships with service users, offering person-centred support focused on positive outcomes and wellbeing Work closely with external agencies to advocate for and support service users Maintain accurate case records, reports, and documentation in line with safeguarding requirements, data protection legislation, and organisational procedures Support service users to access housing, benefits, education, training, volunteering, employment, and community opportunities to improve long-term stability and wellbeing We are keen to see your CV if you have the following: Previous experience in a similar role supporting vulnerable individuals or working within health, housing, social care, or domestic abuse services Confident managing a caseload and working independently Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, professional, and able to build trust quickly Can work flexibly as part of an on-call rota Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle (desirable due to travel across the area) Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one Able to communicate in Welsh (Written and verbal) This is a full-time temporary role (35 hours per week) including participation in an on-call rota, based in Penygroes and the surrounding area until 31/07/2026. In exchange you will receive a salary equivalent of £25,227 per annum (pro-rata), plus an on call allowance dependent on skills and experience.
