My Client is a Main dealer Based Nr Christchurch and is in need of a Vehicle Technician!
OTE Circa £35,000
Vehicle Technician Role and Responsibilities:
1. To undertake maintenance, service and repair activities on motor vehicles of all types to the highest standard within scheduled times to meet company and franchise standards
2. Repair, test vehicles and diagnose their faults as and when required by Service Manager and supervisory staff
3. Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables and record usage
4. Keep work areas clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards to health and safety
5. Carry out work completely and effectively within manufacturers’ servicing and repair times
6. Advise and report on vehicle faults and servicing requirements while working on vehicles, including future servicing/repair requirements
The ideal Vehicle Technician Applicant will:
7. Have at least 2 years’ experience after qualifying period, of working in a Franchise Dealership (or similar)
8. Ideally hold a valid MOT Card
9. Excellent customer service skills
10. Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work
11. Full UK driving licence
12. Level 2 or 3 City and Guild Qualification (Also looking for level 3 college leavers!)
Package:
£30,000 – £35,000
