Family Solicitor ReadingHybrid (flexible) A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor or CILEX professional (2–5 PQE) to join a respected and expanding Family Law team. You will manage your own caseload from the outset, working on high-quality matters while being fully supported in your ongoing career development. This role would suit someone ambitious, commercially aware, and passionate about delivering constructive, modern family law solutions.Key Responsibilities
* Manage an existing caseload while actively developing new work and client relationships.
* Handle a broad mix of private family work including:
o Divorce and separation
o Financial remedy matters
o Children matters
o Pre- and post-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements
* Promote non-court dispute resolution (NCDR) wherever possible; mediation or collaborative training ideal but not essential.
* Deliver exceptional levels of client care to high-net-worth and/or complex-needs clients.
* Provide supervision and guidance to junior team members as required.
* Work independently on your own matters and contribute within a collaborative team environment.
* Maintain excellent time management, organisation, and attention to detail.
* Engage in business development initiatives to help drive growth.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor or CILEX (2–5 PQE) with solid experience in family law.
* Resolution membership desirable.
* Strong working knowledge of private family law procedures and best practices.
* Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport and maintain client trust.
* Competent with case management systems and Microsoft Office.
* A proactive, positive, and supportive team player.
