The Limes College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Forest School Lead to oversee our brand-new provision. As a Forest School Lead, you will take overall responsibility for the planning, teaching and assessment of the subject within our setting, which will include working with small groups and/or delivering 1:1 learning. You will be required to create engaging activities to support pupils to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding in the subject of forest school, and to facilitate their enjoyment of the great outdoors. You will be working under the direction/instruction of the Outdoor Education Head and Deputy Headteacher. This position is term time plus 5 INSET days following usual work pattern:
Working Hours
* Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:45am to 4:00pm
* Wednesday 8:45am to 4:30pm
* Friday 8:45am to 2:45pm.
Qualifications
* Proven experience of working with children in an educational or outdoor learning setting
* Forest School Leader qualification (Level 3)
* First Aid qualification (including outdoor/emergency first aid) or willingness to obtain
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations in outdoor environments
* A passion for empowering learners through practical education
* Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate outdoor learning experiences.
