Job Title: Occupational Therapy - PaediatricLocation: GloucesterPay Rate: £35 per hour
Job Description:Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join its client's team based in Gloucester. This is a part-time role (3 days per week) with hybrid working arrangements, including onsite visits.Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of children and young people with a range of needs, including complex disabilities
* Provide occupationally focused assessments, reports, and interventions
* Act as an expert advisor and practitioner in Children's OT, offering second opinions when OT provision in EHCPs is contested
* Lead OT input for SEND appeals and tribunal legal processes
* Work closely with the EHCP Team and other stakeholders, contributing to appeals as an expert witness
Requirements:
* Degree in Occupational Therapy
* HCPC Registration
* Significant experience working with children with SEND
* Proven ability to produce high-quality reports for EHCPs
* Strong understanding of legal duties and the SEND Code of Practice
* Experience in social services and paediatric settings
