Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join a precision engineering business based in South Lanarkshire, responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities
* Program, set, and operate CNC lathes within a precision engineering environment
* Manufacture components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Carry out routine machine maintenance and tooling changes
* Inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and quality
* Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Essential Experience & Skills
* Proven experience programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes
* Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and quality control
* Experience working in a precision engineering environment
Desired Experience
* Experience with Fanuc controls
Additional Information
* Dayshift role - 37 hours per week plus overtime available
* Rate of up to £20.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
* Based in South Lanarkshire
