Harrogate Leasing is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant based in Harrogate. The role is a friendly, fast‑paced position with a primary focus on sales ledger activities and supporting purchase ledger and banking as required.
Location: Harrogate, Lookers Leasing
Hours: 25; Monday‑Friday 9am – 2:30pm
Employment Type: Permanent, Part Time
Salary:£16,000‑£18,666 pro rata (DOE)
Responsibilities
* Posting invoices, supplier payments, customer receipts, and non‑supplier/customer transactions.
* Carrying out credit control activities (sending statements/remittances, customer contact, responding to queries, internal liaison with other invoicing departments).
* Purchase ledger statement reconciliation.
* Supporting leasing operations regarding customer/contract queries.
* Other ad‑hoc tasks as required by the Accountant.
Qualifications
* Can‑do attitude with an eagerness to learn.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Experience using Excel.
* Willingness to pursue professional accounting qualifications – training will be supported.
