Warehouse Supervisor – Temp to Perm
Location: Leeds
Pay: £14.25 per hour + Overtime
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 (1-hour lunch)
FLT Licence And Driving Licence Are Essential
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations within a small, friendly team of three. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term prospects and excellent conditions.
The Role
* Supervising the warehouse operations for the company
* Loading and unloading vehicles
* Checking off deliveries for accuracy
* Effective stock control and inventory management
* Managing the efficient use of storage space
* Communicating with office-based colleagues to coordinate logistics
* Working to tight deadlines and lead times
* Ensuring high standards of Health & Safety are maintained
* Operating machinery and FLT within the warehouse
* Manual handling
* General warehouse and ad-hoc duties as needed
The Candidate
* Reliable and punctual
* Keeps a tidy and organised work environment
* Efficient and accurate in task execution
* Able to multitask, prioritise, and work independently
* Previous warehouse experience with stock control
* Positive attitude with a flexible, “can-do” approach
* Experience in a warehouse setting preferred
* Must hold a valid FLT Counterbalance licence and UK driving licence
The Package
* Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour
* Overtime:
o Paid at 1.16x after 39 hours per week
o Paid at 1.3x on weekends
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 (flexibility required for early starts or late finishes when container deliveries arrive, sometimes from 6am or into the evening)
