We are looking for an Arboriculture Consultant who can join our team at one of the following offices: Reading, London, Brighton, Bristol, or High Wycombe. This role offers substantial growth prospects and the opportunity to progress within an ambitious organization.
About the role
Your main focus will be on infrastructure projects across highways, energy and water sectors nationwide, initially in the south of England. As a member of the environmental team reporting to the Head of Arboriculture, you will support the design and build of projects, working alongside town planners, environmental consultants, ecologists, landscape architects, and other stakeholders.
Typical responsibilities
* Work on planning applications and projects benefiting from permitted development rights.
* Undertake BS5837 tree surveys, produce arboriculture impact assessments, hedgerow surveys.
* Coordinate TPO applications and lead discussions with tree officers and stakeholders.
* Support design teams on arboriculture matters, including tree impact mitigation and tree protection on building sites.
