CNC TURNER OPERATOR/SETTER
MONDAY - THURSDAY: 07:30 – 16:00 & FRIDAY 07:30 – 15:00
PAY RATE: £17.00 PER HOUR (£34,476.00 Per Year when Permanent)
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner Operator/Setter to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating CNC machinery.
This role is crucial for ensuring precision in the manufacturing process, and the successful applicant will be responsible for producing high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Day to Day Duties
* Setting and operating 2 Axix CNC Lathes
* Working on Fanuc Controls
* Reading and interpreting Engineering drawings to BS/ISO Standards.
* Perform quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments (Micrometres, Verniers etc.)
* Deburring parts using various hand tools.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling and machine operation.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Essential Skills
* Proven experience in setting and operating CNC Lathes & tooling using precision measurement equipment
* Editing experience and G Code Knowledge
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and machinery
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
* Familiarity with logic controllers and basic maths for measurement calculations
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
