Job Vacancy: Temporary GCSE English Teacher (5th Jan - April)

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive English Teacher for a temporary position at our college in Widnes. The role will run from 5th January until April (exact end date TBC), offering a daily rate of £220 - £250, depending on experience.
This is a part time role of 4 days per week covering Monday - Thursday
Key Responsibilities:
* Teaching & Planning: Delivering engaging lessons for GCSE English Language students, based on a pre-planned curriculum.
* Marking & Admin: Experience with AQA GCSE English Language marking is essential, alongside other administrative duties such as tracking progress and reporting.
* Supporting Learners: You will work with students who have experienced disruption due to previous teacher changes, so a proactive and adaptable approach is key to guiding them through their next major unit.
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:15 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Skills & Experience:
* AQA GCSE English Language Experience: Familiarity with the AQA exam board and experience marking GCSE assessments is required.
* Organised & Proactive: Ability to manage lesson plans, assessments, and administrative duties efficiently.
* Adaptability & Teamwork: Experience working with students who may have had disruptions in their learning. You should be confident in building rapport quickly and supporting students effectively.
