We’re looking for Trainee Teaching Assistants to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Salford this September. This role is ideal for anyone wanting hands-on experience in a classroom setting—especially if you’re planning to move into teaching, SEND support, pastoral work, or educational psychology.
What You Will Be Doing:
* Supporting teachers in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
* Working 1:1 or in small groups with students who need extra help.
* Assisting with classroom resources, displays, and preparation.
* Helping monitor progress and behaviour, creating a positive learning environment.
* Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Accessing ongoing training, mentoring, and CPD opportunities throughout the year.
This is a fantastic stepping stone into education. You’ll gain practical experience, regular feedback, and chances to shadow experienced staff as part of your development.
