Role: Contracts Analyst – Contract Delivery
Location: Hybrid working (remote working with travel to Winnersh/Bristol/UK supplier sites)
Summary of Role:
Raytheon UK's, Training Transformation Business, has a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Contracts Analyst to join our growing team. The Training Transformation team delivers a wide range of programmes in Training Integration, Training Equipment, Training Delivery and Training Simulation.
This role will join the Commercial team in a flagship programme delivering cutting edge technology to one of Raytheon UK’s most strategically important UK MOD customers.
The programme itself comprises of supply of a series of training devices and courses, modification of existing training and adopting a new approach to crew training for the one of the most strategically important new naval platforms.
Main Duties:
16. Support commercial elements of the programme including customer relationship
17. Deliver value to the business and be an enabling function for programme success
18. Support and deliver commercial solutions in support of proposals and customer requirements, together with administration of company due diligence activity
19. Supporting the identification and managing of contract change throughout the contract life cycle to maximise opportunities and reduce risks to performance
20. Support programme and bid financial performance with a multi-functional leadership team
21. Support the production of business cases/briefing materials for management reviews
22. Support the business finance function to manage the invoicing and cash collection process
23. Participation in cross-functional improvement activities
24. Understanding of export controls and other compliance requirements including GDPR, Government classifications, etc
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:

31. Experience of Commercial Agreements, ideally in the Defence, Cyber, Training or Aerospace Industry
32. Understanding of Contract Management and Procurement principles
33. Experience of Customer Relationship Management
34. Business/Legal degree or equivalent experience
35. A willingness and ability to travel occasionally within the UK
Desirable:
36. Awareness of Data Protection and other relevant commercial and contract legislation
37. Attendance at customer and supplier meetings in support of supervisor
38. Familiarity with business process management tools (IPDS, SAP or similar) and the competitive bidding process
39. Knowledge of import/export legislation
40. Knowledge of programme financial management and how to apply that to risk and opportunities
41. Experience of Contract Management delivery, ideally with UK MOD customers
42. Awareness of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations (DSPCR).
