Position Summary
Singer Vehicle Design's Specifications and Special Projects team play a critical role in distilling our client’s precise vision into a meticulously restored and reimagined Porsche 911.The Design & Specifications Manager acts as a consultant for clients ensuring we deliver a stunning and unique restoration that exceeds all expectations and honors our principal that “Everything is Important”.
This role is open in the US or the UK, but is an onsite position.
Essential Functions
Manages and inspires Singer clientele throughout their design and specification journeyEngages with clients as necessary, sharing updates and all decision-based deadlines; documents and shares all interactions internally and in a timely mannerProvides high-quality, technical education and training to clients and other contacts on topics such as: brand history/values, customer experience, current/future technology, performance and stylingDelivers signed off specifications for all restorations within the agreed spec-lock deadlinesMeets options uptake and spec value objectivesDevelops and manages all structures, templates, and processes for design and specification-based (internal/external) interaction to successfully measure KPIs for client inspiration programs and initiativesSupports strategic decision making based on customer insightsWorks in a cross-functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrates the ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goalsElevates the Singer Vehicle Design brand and ensure every point of contact is an excellent experienceReflects the values of the Singer brand in all customer and internal interactions supporting our value of, “Everything is Important”Reports to the department head regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, analysis, budgets, and expenses - 100% data accuracy requiredPerforms all other duties as assigned

Team oriented, with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlinesStrong organizational, problem-solving, and collaborative skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently within and across departmentsProficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and more; as well as various digital illustration, editing, and design-based programs and toolsProfessional appearance, excellent verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and actively listen to othersAbility to work independently and from home
Compensation The starting salary range for this position in the US is between $85,120 - 106,400. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
