Job Description: We are recruiting for an Executive Assistant for the General Counsel. The candidate will report directly in to the General Counsel and will attend the Legal Leadership team. The role requires independent working, great communication skills, confidence presenting, the ability to work collaboratively across the business, meticulous organisation and proactive strategic planning. Responsibilities: Full mailbox monitoring & management Expenses Full diary control Organising Board meetings and associated document production Comfortable understanding and drafting minutes and legal documents Arranging execution of documents Cross collaboration with Private Equity shareholders and ELT for VIP meetings Frequent international travel logistics Creating reports & presentations in PowerPoint Planning events (small and large -corporate dinners, team building days, Board dinner and drinks, in office events and training) Assisting with ELT meetings in London office (float UK EA to visiting ELT) Managing holiday planning and absences for the team Answering audit requests Providing additional & ad hoc support to the legal team (LLT) Arranging professional development for team Organising team meetings with internal & external speakers Create and monitor PO's for legal team & review external spend Creating guides for the company on new systems/updates/ welcome packs for new starters etc Qualifications and experience: 5 years' experience working in a legal department (in-house or PP firms), supporting senior execs (Partners, not associates) in a busy, fast paced environment (ideally magic circle/ silver circle/US firm experience - should be a corporate legal background) Law qualifications and degree not essential as long as long as there is sufficient work experience in corporate legal Must be skilled with Microsoft office programmes, word, excel, PPT etc Knowledge of a CLM system would be a bonus Previous experience working in Basware / NetSuite / a similar PO raising software would be desirable Able to come in to the office 2 days a week but occasionally more when required from time to time (for ELT meetings, or visiting ELT members) 9-5 with flex when required Our Guiding Principles for success at Norstella: 01: Bold, Passionate, and Mission-First 02: Integrity, Truth, and Reality 03: Kindness, Empathy, and Grace 04: Resilience, Mettle, and Perseverance 05: Humility, Gratitude, and Learning Benefits: 25 days annual leave, 4 days for volunteering and a personal day 5% pension match Group Life Assurance (100% employer funded) Group Income Protection (100% employer funded) Other voluntary benefits such as: Dental, Cash Plan, PMI Excess Cover, Health Screening & Critical Illness _Norstella is an equal opportunity employer.
