We are now seeking a dedicated Deputy General Manager to support the GM in driving our success and elevating the guest experience to new heights. The Role: As our Deputy General Manager, you will be the right hand to the General Manager, playing a pivotal role in the daily operations and strategic success of the pub. Your key responsibilities will include: Leadership: Supporting the GM in leading, mentoring, and motivating a large team of front and back of house staff to deliver impeccable service. Operations Management: Overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during busy periods. Financials: Assisting with stock control, managing labour costs, and helping to drive revenue to meet and exceed financial targets. Guest Experience: Upholding our impeccable standards, handling guest feedback with grace, and fostering a welcoming and memorable environment for all. Training & Development: Playing a key role in the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of our team. Compliance: Ensuring all health, safety, and licensing regulations are strictly adhered to. What We're Looking For: Proven experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Senior Supervisor in a high-quality, high-volume pub, bar, or restaurant. A natural leader with excellent people-management skills and the ability to inspire a team. Strong financial acumen with experience managing KPIs, GP, and labour budgets. A deep understanding of premium service standards and a passion for the hospitality industry. Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and licensing procedures. Flexibility to work full-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A personal commitment to creating a fantastic experience for both guests and the team.
