Responsibilities
* Lead the donor stewardship work, ensuring donors feel valued, informed, and connected to the impact of their support.
* Plan how we thank donors, share impact, and build long-term relationships that support future major gifts.
* Deliver a mix of activities including planning events, producing reports, and meeting donors in person.
* Work on projects involving regular giving, corporate support, and helping develop and implement a legacy strategy.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Organised, collaborative, and proactive with strong communication skills.
* Comfortable working with a wide range of people across the University, including academics, donors, and alumni.
* Understanding of donor or customer care and confidence using data and databases (we use the alumni database Raiser’s Edge) to manage relationships and measure success.
* Experience in donor stewardship, fundraising, alumni engagement, or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
* Given the importance of supporting regular giving and sponsorship, able to make direct asks for funding.
