1. Are you passionate about providing advice and guidance? We are currently recruiting for an Advice & Information Officer to work on a hybrid basis, in a Fixed Term Contract until December 2024. You will be working for a leading organisation within the education field, providing practical support on a variety of subjects.

Your working hours will be 35.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm which includes 2 days per week working on a hybrid basis from home.
As the Advice & Information Officer, you will be:
2. Providing impartial and confidential advice to students
3. Advising students in a number of areas including housing, education, wellbeing and finance
4. Managing cases for students and referring to relevant organisations where necessary
5. Providing guidance on a face to face basis as well as online and over the telephone
As the Advice & Information Officer, you will have:
6. Experience in providing guidance in one of the following areas: housing, education, wellbeing or finance
7. Experience working with students or in an academic setting would be an advantage
8. IT literate, experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel
9. You may also have experience in any of the following: Education & Welfare Advisor, Wellbeing Adviser, Finance Adviser, Citizens Advice Bureau, Acas, Support & Guidance Officer, Housing Advisor or Adviser
As the Advice & Information Officer, you will receive a salary of £27,300 per annum plus fantastic benefits.
