iO Associates has partnered with a leading global manufacturer specialising in healthcare, pharmaceutical, and consumer health products. They are seeking an Operations Program Manager for their Littleborough site. Operating in a highly regulated environment with a focus on innovation and operational excellence, the company delivers complex product portfolios worldwide. This role involves managing global projects, new product introductions (NPI), and portfolio changes, working with cross-functional teams across local and international operations.
About the Role:
The Operations Program Manager will oversee the implementation of NPIs, portfolio changes, international rollouts, and various OpEx and CapEx projects. You will drive governance processes to ensure timely delivery, compliance with standards, and alignment with supply plans. This role offers an opportunity to improve systems, embed best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage NPI and international maintenance projects, ensuring on-time delivery from trials to product release.
* Act as the primary contact for stakeholders on launches and maintenance projects.
* Track all Technical Operations projects through governance processes, monitoring milestones and KPIs.
* Identify and resolve project delays or risks, escalating issues when necessary.
* Develop and improve governance structures and tracking tools.
* Facilitate cross-functional meetings for alignment and timely execution.
* Analyze stakeholder and market requirements to ensure project alignment.
* Identify process gaps and implement best practices in project management.
* Support understanding of interdependencies and roles in project delivery.
* Assess resource needs, manage priorities, and support decision-making.
* Maintain visibility of project plans aligned with supply review processes.
* Collaborate with commercial PMO teams on governance and NPI delivery.
* Support the Operations Leadership Team with risk management and senior review content.
* Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives, applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Qualifications:
* Degree or equivalent in a technical or numerical discipline (science, engineering, business).
* Experience managing stakeholders and business processes.
* Background in Operations, including production, quality, supply chain, or continuous improvement.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of ERP systems.
* Project management experience, especially with NPI in manufacturing.
* Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proactive and pragmatic approach.
