Network Provisioning Manager—part of a team of 3 responsible for the delivery of local access services for all standard TC portfolio services in support of DT Business Solutions GK, DTGBS, T-Wholesale and T-Systems customers in UK and Ireland. The primary function is post‑sales service delivery ensuring that committed customer delivery dates are met, increasing customer satisfaction. The UK team is part of the Global Access Delivery organisation, with teams located in 19 LBUs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely administration / processing of incoming access service orders by managing the implementation of access services that can comprise of various service elements such as local loop, internet access and hardware.
- Maintain pro‑active contact and status feedback loop with LCON during the delivery journey.
- Co‑ordinate local on‑site engineering activities with the LCON.
- Proactively track supplier deliverables against set KPIs and maintain internal tracking / ordering tools with latest key delivery milestones and key status updates.
- Maintain a firm delivery reliability of all access components against agreed timelines (KPIs) and minimise internal order processing / completion delays.
- Maintain strong collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Procurement / D&O Provisioning / Project Management.
- Maintain proactive knowledge of industry products and DTT Portfolio, as such to be deemed a local SME, subject matter expert.
Qualifications
- Area‑ and industry‑specific product and market knowledge – knowledge of DTGBS relevant portfolio and supplier products.
- Effective time management: highly driven and proactive individual, motivated to work autonomously to meet often tight deadlines and targets.
- Strong process understanding – order management, requiring excellent coordination/scheduling skills.
- Stakeholder management and escalation management, cross‑functional collaboration.
- Customer focus & service excellence.
- Data entry management and data analytics.
- Creative and organisational skills to implement service and process improvements.
- Tool competence – knowledge of job relevant tools.
- Highly self‑motivated, empathetic and positive outlook.
- Good provisioning management experience in UK telecoms order management industry.
- German language skills beneficial but not essential.
- Good working knowledge of ITIL.
- Desirable to have experience of product specific designs utilising IP, IP VPN, MPLS, SDWAN (underlay), WLAN, MLAN, VoIP, and security products such as Firewalls, especially with respect to delivery and operations.
