About the Role:
Our teams of pension administrators provide services to a wide range of trust-basedpany pension schemes, including defined benefit, defined contribution, career average revalued earnings, and hybrid schemes. Our APT team undertakes projects such as GMP rectification/equalisation, buy-in/buy-out, data cleansing, and ad hoc projects like scheme closures, benefit rectifications, liability reduction exercises, McCloud, and Pension Dashboards. Our administrative approach is scheme-based, enabling strong client relationships and focused service delivery. We value both technical proficiency and excellent customer service.
1. Updating relevant pension administration databases and systems
2. Performing manual calculations
3. Running automated systems extracts
4. Data manipulation and reviewing member records
5. Collaborating with internal and external teams (, Pensions Accounts, Payroll)
6. Ensuring accurate time recording and meeting utilisation targets
7. Supporting a variety of project-based pension administration tasks
8. Undertaking other similar activities as required
Your Profile
Essential
9. Excellent organisational and planning skills
10. Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
11. Willingness to learn and follow procedures consistently
12. Ownership and responsibility for own work
13. Positive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach
14. Effective interpersonal andmunication skills
15. High accuracy and attention to detail (numerical and written)
16. Good problem-solving skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
Desirable
17. Previous experience in pensions administration or financial services
18. Understanding of trust-based pension schemes and related projects
Qualifications:
19. Educated to A-Level, Degree, or equivalent standard.
20. GCSEs in Maths and English (minimum grade B or equivalent).
