Woodgate Primary Academy requires: ELSA Emotional Literacy Support Assistant 30 hours per week, Term time only Salary: £25,583- £26,403 fte (actual starting salary £17,344.49 - £17,900.42) Woodgate Primary School is committed to providing the highest quality learning for all children. The successful candidate will: Have experience of working with groups of children; Be expected to deliver intervention programmes to groups of children. Have a passion and motivation for improving the lives of all children; Have an optimistic attitude and be flexible to the demands of the job; Demonstrate versatility, tact, commitment and the ability to use initiative; Be patient and able to stay calm and listen and value children’s views; Be able to work as part of a team and be expected to contribute to its development; Have the ability to strictly maintain confidentiality; Be suitably qualified for the post of ELSA or willingness to undertake training; Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; Have experience with some behaviour management techniques.
