We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our teams at Birchgrove Special Needs Day Service and Swansea Vale Resource Centre. The hours of work will be as follows:
Swansea Vale Resource Centre 9.30am to 11.30am
Birchgrove SNS 11.45am to 13.45pm
The job involves preparing and serving mid-day meals to service users who attend both services.
Kitchen Assistant duties would involve pureeing, blending and cutting up of meals in accordance with individual service user SALT guidelines, as well as undertaking a range of cleaning and other kitchen duties. We expect high standards of cleanliness, and record keeping skills to meet legislative requirements and the ability to work as part of the team.
Training for the job will be provided but experience of kitchen work and Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate would be essential.
