Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and maintenance services to our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. The Service Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and timely service delivery.
Duties
* Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, both on-site and remotely.
* Provide training and support to clients on the proper use of equipment.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product reliability and performance.
* Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports on repairs and maintenance performed.
* Assist in the installation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
* Respond promptly to service requests and maintain effective communication with clients throughout the process.
Experience
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
* Experience in hydraulics
* Experienced machinist, milling, turning grinding etc.
* Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to the industry is advantageous.
