Plant Manager is a hands-on leadership role where you will guide a small, close-knit team while supporting day-to-day plant operations. You’ll play an important part in balancing operational excellence with customer care, helping your team deliver consistently high-quality outcomes.We’re looking for a people-focused leader who values collaboration, brings a thoughtful approach to decision-making, and creates an environment where others feel supported to grow and succeed.What You’ll Be Doing

Nurturing a safe, supportive team culture with strong health and safety focus

Coordinating plant operations, including batching, logistics, and delivery to meet customer needs

Partnering with customers and internal teams to ensure a seamless, positive experience

Monitoring performance and continuously improving plant processes and outcomes

Supporting quality assurance and compliance with NZ standards

Providing hands-on support across production and operations when needed

Developing team capability through coaching, training, and clear communication

Maintaining accurate operational and production records

What You’ll Bring

Experience leading or supporting a team in an operational or industrial environment

A background in production, logistics, or construction-related industries

Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, inclusive leadership style

Confidence in balancing people, safety, and performance priorities

Sound planning, organisation, and problem-solving ability

A calm, thoughtful approach to decision-making and continuous improvement
