H&H Group plc is a group of companies based in Carlisle. We operate in Auctioneering, Property, and Insurance.
We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team based in the auction mart building, Borderway Rosehill, Carlisle.
The role will include:
ensuring a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the designated area
mopping and scraping floor surfaces as required.
cleaning all kitchen, office, toilet and restroom areas within the designated areas.
washing cleaning cloths and dusters.
monitoring minor maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats, unclogging sinks etc. and to liaise with your line manager accordingly.
conducting regular disinfection and deep cleaning in agreement with your line manager
using cleaning materials appropriately, as instructed and economically
ensuring that tools and equipment are in good working order, reporting any faults to your line manager.
emptying and cleaning bins and remove waste to designated area, including the separation of waste, i.e. recycling.
The successful applicant will:
have good communication skills
be able to work quickly under pressure whilst remaining calm and polite in all circumstances
have an understanding of health and safety regulations relative to the post
Whilst there would be some flexibility, we would be offering up to 16 hours per week and this would include some weekend working and early morning starts.
