HEALTH & SAFETY ADVISOR HULL, EAST YORKSHIRE 5 MONTH CONTRACT OUTIDE OF IR35 We are currently seeking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor to join the team, delivering a large civil engineering project near Hull in East Yorkshire. Works comprise of earthworks, piling, RC structures, paving, & drainage. This role involves working as the Health & Safety Advisor on one large project, being site based Monday to Friday. We are keen to receive applications from individuals who are currently working in the position of Health & Safety Advisor within a civil engineering environment. Individuals should have a strong commitment to the highest standards of health & safety and should have environmental awareness. Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, duties include but are not limited to: Advise and guide all personnel working on the project with regards to the implementation of the Health & Safety policies and procedures To work with all Managers and Staff to ensure risk assessments are prepared and reviewed as necessary and if required to assist with their preparation To undertake site Health & Safety audits Support the Managers / Director in the production, review and implementation of the relevant Project Management Plans / Construction Phase Plans and project SHEQ documentation Delivering inductions and training as required Undertake regular site Health & Safety inspections and assist the site teams with closing out issues that are identified during inspections and audits To liaise with client representatives in order to establish good working relationships in relation to SHEQ management of sites Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent CSCS card First Aid About Trant: Trant Engineering Ltd has a long history of engineering and construction excellence, delivering high quality EPC engineering and construction services throughout the UK and overseas.
